The Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is offering a PhD student the opportunity to join her lab group starting next fall (2014-2015 academic year) to study U.S. water management/policy issues (specific topic to be determined through mutual agreement). 2-years of guaranteed funding will be provided.

Required qualifications:

  • Engineering background (Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering)
  • Experience with social science research and analysis (such as interviewing, surveying, network analysis, agent based modeling, etc.)
  • Familiarity with US water policies
